Scope of Work
Roots Garden Company provides garden maintenance, planting, and related gardening services as agreed with each customer. The exact scope of work will be discussed and confirmed before each booking.
Bookings & Cancellations
- Bookings must be confirmed in advance.
- 24+ hours’ notice: No charge for cancellation.
- Less than 24 hours’ notice (including same-day cancellations): 50% of the agreed service fee will be charged, unless we are able to reschedule your appointment. Please note rescheduling is not always possible.
- By employing Roots Garden Company to tend to your garden, you confirm that you have read and accepted this cancellation policy.
Payment Terms
- All payments must be settled by the last working day of the month.
- We accept payment by cash, card and bank transfer via an invoice sent by email or text
Access to the Garden
- Customers must ensure safe and reasonable access to the garden on the agreed date.
- Any delays caused by lack of access may be chargeable.
Health & Safety
- Roots Garden Company follows safe working practices at all times.
- Customers are asked to keep children, pets, and visitors away from the working area during garden work.
- We accept no liability for injury caused by entering work areas during or immediately after services.
Waste Removal
- With permission, Roots will use your garden waste bin to dispose of garden waste.
- Disposing of garden waste at recycling centre will incur an additional fee of £10 - this is the site cost only and Roots make no additional profit from this fee.
Liability
- While we take care in all work undertaken, Roots Garden Company cannot accept responsibility for:
- Pre-existing damage to lawns, plants, or structures.
- Damage caused by pests, weather, or other natural events beyond our control.
